1947 CPR Anniversary

Crowds at Kitsilano Beach celebrating the 60th anniversary of the arrival of C.P.R. locomotive # 374 — the first train into Vancouver. The locomotive was located at Kits Beach for public display (and play) until 1983. It has since been restored and is now housed at the Roundhouse community centre in Yaletown.
